  • What is Fascial Manipulation?
Fascial Manipulation is a hands-on technique focused on the deep muscular fascia, involving deep digital pressure exerted over specific points defined by the biomechanical model of the method. The selection of the points is according to precise clinical examination as indicated by Fascial Manipulation guidelines. Lina studies the approach taught by the Stecco Institute of Fascial Manipulation. The university of Padua, IT has been at the forefront of anatomical research since 1222.
  • What is Fascia?
Fascia is a continuous elastic sheet surrounding your muscles that communicate the finest movements to the rest of your body and brain. The sum of this body wide tension network can be organized into a system that not only keeps us upright and moving but also bears influence on every other major system in our body. When mapped on the human body the fascial system bears striking resemblance to the meridians of some form of eastern medicine.
  • What is dry needling?
Needling is the insertion of needles in specific points of the body. I integrate needling to fascial manipulation following a pattern that combine both fascial manipulation biomechanical model and acupuncture meridians. Both techniques have similar models or points along specific channels in our human body. The integration of both Fascial manipulation and needling in the treatment maximize the effects of recovery in a short period of time compared to traditional physical therapy.
  • What is cupping therapy?
Cupping is the use of special cupping cups on specific points of the body. Cupping improves blood circulation and decreases muscle tension. I integrate cupping therapy to fascial manipulation following a pattern that combine both fascial manipulation biomechanical model and acupuncture meridians. Both techniques have similar models or points along specific channels in our human body. The integration of both Fascial manipulation and cupping in the treatment maximize the effects of recovery in a short period of time compared to traditional physical therapy.
